How to get to Cortona

By car: travelling by car from the North, or South take the A1 Firenze–Roma highway (autostrada), exit at Valdichiana (about 200 km from Rome and 60 km from Firenze). Follow the blue signs for Perugia and take the Siena-Perugia fastway (superstrada) exit at Cortona (do not exit at first sign to Cortona-Foiano) – follow directions to Cortona. Take the road to Cortona, just get to the a small town called Camucia follow the signs for Cortona which is at the top of the hill.

By train: there are two railway stations: Camucia–Cortona and Terontola–Cortona. The nearest railway station is Camucia–Cortona. For those coming from Milan, we recommend the High-speed Trains to Florence and then from Florence there are many trains that stop at both railway stations. For those coming from Rome can take both High-speed Trains that direct ones.
From both railway stations you can reach or by bus (the bus stop is just outside the station) or taxi. From the railway station you reach us by local taxi or by bus which will take you to us in few minutes drive. The city bus departs from the two station and it arrives to Piazza del Mercato in Cortona (which is about 100 metres from our school).
We can provide taxi phone numbers. For more Info:
